Comparison of US health care system with Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development(OECD): Referring to the health care performance analysis done by the Commonwealth Fund, the US health care system consistently fails to achieve the balance between the service provided and the expenditure incurred. Although the U.S. spends more on health care than any other country and has the highest proportion of specialist physicians, survey findings indicate that from the patients perspective, and based on outcome indicators, the performance of American health care is severely lacking, stated by the Commonwealth Fund . One of the fiduciary duties of the agent is that the agent should not engage in any business that competes with that of the principal. Without the informed consent from the principal, this amount to breach of the fiduciary duties associated with agency relationship (Latimer, 2005).
